Breakout Board for PIC32MX795F512L
This Plug-In Module ( PIM ) or breakout board for PIC32MX795F512L-I/PT is also intented to be used with any PIC32, PIC24, and dsPIC33 TQFP 100 USB devices, it comes with Basic Connection Requirements, a crystal 8 Mhz, and header (1x6) for In-Circuit Serial Programming™ (ICSP™) and debugging purposes. The silkscreen on both sides helps identifying quickly any PIN name and number.

Processor Plug-In Modules or breakout boards are small circuit boards in which all MCU pins are brought out to the edge of the board by 0.1" (2.54mm) spaced, dual-row headers. Different TQFP 100 (0.4mm) microcontrollers can be used : PIC32MX, PIC24, dsPIC33, for prototyping, demonstrating or developing quickly and easily.
This is a simple breakout board with the high performance 32-bit Microcontroller : PIC32MX795F512L-80I/PT with basic Connection Requirements :
- There are supporting decoupling and power capacitors on every pair of power supply pins, such as VDD, VSS, VUSB3V3,AVDD and AVSS.
- A crystal 8Mhz added to the circuit, this oscillator circuit and the load capacitors are placed on the same side of the board as the device, and they are placed close to the respective oscillator pins, not exceeding one-half inch (12mm) distance between them as mentioned in the datasheet. Also, used a grounded copper pour around the oscillator circuit to isolate them from surrounding circuits and any traces on the other side of the board where the crystal is placed is avoided.
- A header (1x6) is added (compatible with MPLAB ICD 3 In-Circuit Debugger, PICkit 3 In-Circuit Debugger...) for In-Circuit Serial Programming™ (ICSP™) and debugging purposes.
